This is really clever stuff from Rafael dos Anjos.
The UFC lightweight champion is scheduled to defend his belt against former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez at Fight Night 90 on July 7, and he has an ingenious way of promoting the bout.
To stray away from the modern way of hyping fights, by trash-talking opponents, coming out with soundbites and all that other stuff that happens outside the cage, RDA has decided to keep things simple and let everyone know he will do his talking inside the cage.
He did this by uploading video of himself remaining silent and outlining his plan with a series of cards. The cards explain that he plans on handling business inside the cage against Alarez, just like he did so many times before, noting his victories over Nate Diaz, Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone (twice).
I do my talking in the octagon and I will do it again July 7… Stay tuned Only on @UFCFightPass @ufc #thefuture pic.twitter.com/DOMQSrbvXq

We all know who he’s having a go at with this video, but in keeping with the Brazilian’s message, we won’t mention who because, after all, it doesn’t need to be said.
