“I thought I was in bleedin’ Lanzarote.”
UFC star Conor McGregor was heard to say “come and get me” as he drove away from a court appearance in Dublin on Thursday.
McGregor appeared at Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday morning, having been caught driving at 150 km/h in a 100 km/h zone earlier this year. He pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding and was fined €400.
On his way out of court, McGregor said: “I thought I was in bleedin’ Lanzarote” and was asked by a reporter if he had “any reaction to the threats on his life”.
As can be seen in the RTÉ News footage below, McGregor was heard to say “come and get me” as he drove away in a high-powered sports car.
