It is years since Conor McGregor has looked so good and appeared so relaxed at a weigh-in.
‘The Notorious’ was in gay form as he tipped the scales at 168lbs ahead of his weltwerweight fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
Before he took to the stage, and basked in the support from hundreds of Irish fans in the 8,000-strong crowd, McGregor watched all the others fighters weigh in.
The highlight, before McGregor was introduced, was surely ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor, who paid homage to the Irishman by impersonating him. McGregor took it in a good light. He remarked:
“That’s good. He had my tattoos on him like a sticker. Tom Lawler. Good. He got a pop, he got a pop for it.”
