If you’re squeamish, look away now.
The sole flyweight bout on the UFC Seoul card between Freddy Serrano and Yao Zhikui didn’t finish exactly as expected.
Serrano got the TKO victory just 44 seconds into the opening round after his opponent made an error which saw his arm bend completely the wrong way. The Colombian shot in for a huge takedown and Zhuki inexplicably tried to cushion his fall with his hand.
That didn’t go so well as the Chinese fighter’s elbow dislocated upon impact with the mat, meaning he was unable to defend himself from his opponent’s ground and pound.
The referee, seeing Zhikui was in trouble, put him out of his misery by awarding Serrano the TKO victory.
