There’s not even a close second when it comes to fighters’ names that are consistently mispronounced.
Whether it’s fighters, commentators or UFC president Dana White himself, nobody seems to be able to grasp the surname of the women’s strawweight champion.
We would type it out phonetically but we’re doubting ourselves now. It sounds like there’s an “N” in there somewhere but we can’t be sure.
Best stick to “JJ” then.
