Blessed wants to face Conor McGregor at Croke Park but he may have to wait for The Answer.
Dana White told Frankie Edgar that he could have ‘whatever he wants’ after he knocked Chad Mendes out at the TUF finalé.
The UFC president will surely have made a similar vow to McGregor after his sensational 13-second KO of José Aldo last night.
In the immediate aftermath, Edgar called for the next crack at the new, undisputed featherweight champion.
The fans want @TheNotoriousMMA v. Edgar. Give them what they want Conor. We could do it ANYWHERE! #PleaseDontGo #Dontgoooooo

Max Holloway, who beat, Jeremy Stephens to take his winning streak to six since his defeat, last year, to The Notorious.
Holloway said, “Look, [let’s do] Holloway vs. McGregor 2 at Croke Park. I think we sell that thing out. I’m the one guy that actually gave him a fight.
“If he moves up, Edgar v. Holloway, UFC Hawaii. We can get one back for BJ Penn. Whatever happens, whatever Dana White and them want, I’m ready. I’ve been winning.”
As for Joe Rogan, who called the fight for FOX Sports, dismissed the notion that the UFC would select Aldo for an immediate rematch.
“That was a fight,” said Rogan. “Aldo got knocked dead. It was a fight; a fight that ended real quick.” Rogan added:
“I don’t see why they would have a rematch right now, after that fight. It is very hard to justify a rematch when somebody knocks someone out that quickly in the first round.
“HOWEVER, Frankie Edgar also knocked out Chad Mendes in the first round.
“That would be an absolutely sensational match-up and one that has been a long-time coming.”
