Even after the thousands of interviews he’s done, Dana White still manages to make a rookie interview error.
It is fight week, and that means that UFC’s  fly on the wall documentary series Embedded has returned to our screens.
In episode two, we catch up with lightweight champion Anthony Pettis as befriends Eastern European drivers, takes part in the usual pre-fight media obligations and desperately tries to avoid eating what appears to be “khlav kalash” made famous by the New York episode of the Simpsons.
Meanwhile, we get introduced to his opponent for 181, Gilbert Melendez’s dad, who seems like one of the nicest people in the world. Just to clarify Pettis is fighting Melendez, not the former Strikeforce champion’s elderly father. Although, Gilbert Melendez Snr does appear to be a shade younger than Dan Henderson.
The video ends with UFC president Dana White doing a sign off at the promotion’s landmark Reebok sponsorship announcement before almost completely derailing a separate interview with women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. You need to make sure the path is clear before you attempt a cool guy walk-off, Uncle Dana.
