Conor McGregor is stepping up his trash-talking game ahead of his grudge match against Jose Aldo at UFC 189.
It was Father’s Day on Sunday and Conor McGregor took inspiration from the occasion to score a cheeky dig against the undisputed king of the 145 lb division.
The Notorious uploaded a clip from a recent interview to his Instagram account showing off his smack talk acumen against the Brazilian.
Although, what the Dubliner said may have been initially lost in translation, Aldo’s reaction to McGregor’s goading is absolutely priceless.

Soon after, McGregor then took to Twitter to stoke the flames of his rivalry with Aldo.

However, Aldo was quick to fire back with a sarcastic response and show McGregor who the real champ is.
I'm terrified. Not even gonna sleep tonight.

These two will square off inside the Octagon in the main event at UFC 189 on July 11th in the MGM Grand Garden Arena with Aldo putting his belt on the line. A welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald will serve as the co-main event on the night.
