The Notorious is back on Irish soil
Conor McGregor has returned to the home land. The Irish UFC superstar landed in Dublin on Sunday evening after spending around six months on the road promoting fights and recording the new season of the Ultimate Fighter with MMA legend Urijah Faber.
A large group of Irish fans were there to greet McGregor at Dublin airport as he proudly carried the UFC interim featherweight belt he won by knocking out Chad MEndes in two rounds at UFC 189.
“It feels good to be home, that’s all I know. It’s been a lot of work, a lot of travelling and I’m happy to be home.”
“I’m going to go home, see my family, I haven’t seen my family in a long time, see my friends, put my feet up and enjoy my success and then back to work because, there’s still more to do.”
