Conor McGregor certainly knows how to put on a spectacle, both inside and outside the cage
The Notorious put on an all-out striking clinic against Dennis Siver in Boston, eventually pummelling him into submission in the second round. The TKO victory not only secured McGregor a lucrative Performance of the Night bonus, it also got him the next title fight against long-standing champion Jose Aldo.
The UFC had the ingenious idea of letting Aldo watch the event from the stands as a guest fighter. Unsurprisingly, this caused some drama after McGregor’s dominant win in the headline bout.
After his victory, McGregor scaled the fence, hopped out of the Octagon and rushed to confront the champ in the crowd. Aldo stood his ground which made for a pretty intense staredown.
Whoa!!! @TheNotoriousMMA jumps out of the Octagon and goes after @ufc Champ @josealdojunior #UFCBostonhttps://t.co/fHp2eqXXiS
