The American gangster from West Linn, Oregon was in flying form at the roast of Randy Couture at the the NCAA wrestling championships.
Unsurprisingly, the greatest trash-talker in the history of the UFC had the whole room in fits of laughter cracking wise about the UFC Hall of Famer.
Sonnen didn’t hold back either, poking fun at Couture’s reputation as being a bit of a swordsman with the ladies and his failed acting career. However, after several knees were slapped and even more ribs were tickled, Sonnen signed off by admitting how much of a privilege it was to roast a true legend of MMA.
“Randy, I would pass along some nice words before I leave, but I simply don’t have any.”
“I’m kidding, brother. I love you and thanks for letting me roast you. It’s been an honour.”
What a classy way to close it.
