There have been some outstanding head kick KOs this year but none quite like this.
Jose Johnston landed a beautifully executed right head kick squarely on the temple of Alan Grays in an unsanctioned MMA bout. The kick was so clean and powerful that it caused Grays’ eye to pop out of its socket and fall to the canvas. The referee was forced to end the fight and award Johnston the TKO victory.
Judging by the video, the crowd were unaware of the fact that it was a prosthetic eye. There was a collective groan from the audience along with a couple of shrieks in horror after the kick landed and the fighter's eye started rolling around the Octagon.
