Germaine de Randamie set the table, Stefan Struve was a quick appetiser and Alistair Overeem certainly filled us up.
Just like the Irish fighters at UFC Fight Night 46 at the 3 Arena, the Dutch enjoyed a clean sweep of victories on Sunday night.
In the UFC’s inaugural event in the Netherlands, the three home fighters on the card went 3-0 and, to put the cherry on top of the cake, all three came via TKO.
Dutch fighters go 3-for-3 tonight as 'The Reem' @AlistairOvereem gets it done!! #UFCRotterdam 🇳🇱 https://t.co/g82dJGSBDy

Perhaps the most stunning of all came via the left foot and subsequent ground-and-pound of Alistair Overeem who finished teammate Andrei Arlovski in the second round.
It was a much more patient ‘Reem’ than we’ve seen earlier on in his career but his composure paid dividends as the opening materialised in the second round with a picture-perfect kick to Arlovski’s jaw followed by a flush left hook.
Overeem swarmed and despite his big toe having come out of place in the kick, the Dutch heavyweight got the TKO moments later.
Depending on how Travis Browne and Cain Velasquez fare at UFC 200, we could be looking at the challenger for the winner of Werdum vs. Miocic, ladies and gents.
