Whoever stole Gregor Gillespie’s gear on Saturday night is either remarkably brave or incredibly stupid.
Gillespie appears to be a legitimate threat in the UFC’s lightweight division and continues to dominate all who stand in his way on his ascent to the pinnacle at 155lbs.
The New Yorker enjoyed performing in front of his home crowd at UFC Brooklyn last weekend and sustained no damage as he rag dolled opponent Yancy Medeiros before forcing the stoppage late in the second round.
But everything didn’t go Gillespie’s way at the Barclays Centre because the undefeated 155lber has revealed that his fight bag, which contained his wallet and gum shields, was robbed at the arena.
Gregor Gillespe is just relentless 😳
He moves to 13-0 (6-0 UFC) with a TKO finish with one second left in the final round!

Gillespie has appealed for the thief to return the wallet simply due to the fact that he does not want to have to go through the hassle of getting a new driver’s licence.
Gillespie wrote on Instagram: “To who ever it is who stole mine and one of my coaches fight bags at the Barclays center tonight. Could you please just return my wallet and my mouth guards?
“If you stole the bag for some memorabilia, that’s cool you can keep that if you want, but id really like my wallet and mouth guards back. I REALLLLLY don’t want to go to the DMV.”
