So what’s the weather like in Vegas in December?
Well whatever about the temperature outside it’s going to be red hot when Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor finally come face to face in the octagon less than two weeks before Christmas.
Dana White appeared to have let the cat out of the bag last night as he suggested that a date in December at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas would be the setting for the featherweight title showdown.
And he was dead on the money, of course – it’s his money after all – as the UFC has confirmed that the fight will indeed take place on December 12 to unify the current champion Aldo with the interim champion McGregor.

The fight was due to take place on July 11 until a rib injury to the Brazilian meant that Chad Mendes stepped in for a chance at the interim belt against the Dubliner.
However his loss meant that ‘The Notorious’ will now get a chance to see who will be the undisputed UFC featherweight champion as the main event of UFC 194.
So, when’s the first media event?
