UFC 200 reached a new high for gate and attendance figures for the promotion in Las Vegas.
Amid the records broken by the UFC’s landmark event at the new T-Mobile Arena is the new highest total for Reebok’s Athlete Outfitting Policy payouts.
The UFC’s official fight gear provider paid out $350,000 on Saturday night, eclipsing the $297,500 from UFC 199.
Daniel Cormier and Miesha Tate were the top-earners with $40,000 each while title challengers Amanda Nunes, Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar took home $30,000 each.
Brock Lesnar, the superstar addition to the UFC 200 fight card, only earned $5,000 for sporting Reebok in the Octagon.
The way that the Athlete Outfitting Policy works is that fighters are awarded a payscale based on how many fights they have in the UFC as well as in the WEC and Strikeforce, during the Zuffa-owned era.
Champions going into events will receive $40,000 while title challengers will earn $30,000 and fighters also earn a percentage (between 20% and 30%) of apparel sold bearing their likenesses.
