Time for Paddy Holohan to get his show back on the road.
The Twitter spat paid off for ‘The Hooligan’ and Willie Gates.
Holohan [12-2-1] is being lined up for a flyweight bout with Gates [12-6] at UFC Rotterdam on May 8.
Coming off a chastening, comprehensive loss at UFC Dublin, late last year, Holohan will be eager to get back on a winning run.
Gates is also coming off a loss. ‘Whoop Ass’ last via first round TKO, against Dustin Ortiz, last August.
The news emerged on MMA Fighting last night and the fact that Hoolahan retweeted it suggests it is only a matter of crossing some ‘t’s’ and dotting some lower case ‘j’s’.

The pair have engaged in an on-going Twitter spat in recent months and are both keen to face off so the UFC had an easy job of teeing this one up.
The event will be headlined by the heavyweight clash of Alistair Overeem v. Andrei Arlovski. It will take place the Ahoy Rotterdam stadium.
