It might not have been a first round knockout but McGregor certainly had an impressive performance in Boston
The Notorious annihilated “German, midget steroid-head” Dennis Siver in the main event of Fight Night 59. The Dubliner continuously out-classed Siver in the striking department and put an all-out beat down on the number 10 ranked featherweight, eventually putting him away in the second round.
McGregor walked away from the Octagon with the TKO victory and a title shot against long-standing champion Jose Aldo.
Here is how the good people of Twitter reacted to McGregor’s phenomenal performance.
Congrats to the McGregor-nator @TheNotoriousMMA on terminating another opponent. Can't wait for your world championship fight. I'll be there

If Jose Aldo didn't have a Conor McGregor, he would need to invent him. This is going to be huge.
