Cub Swanson seems to be a little too obsessed about the business of Irish fighters in the UFC.
The American has been very vocal about his cynicism of Conor McGregor’s abilities and he didn’t pass up the chance to throw a subtle dig at “The Notorious” by offering some congratulations to Neil Seery last night.
After the 35-year-old Team Ryano product earned the decision victory over the then-undefeated Chris Beal, Swanson took to Twitter to big-up the character of “2-Tap”.
Congrats to @NeilSeeryMMA on his win tonight! He shows the real heart & soul of an Irishman #ClassAct @ufc

We’re not in the position to second-guess the underlying meaning of anyone’s well-wishes but we have the sneaking suspicion that Conor McGregor might have been in Swanson’s mind when his fingers went a-typin’.
