All I got to say, there gonna be some more black-on-black crime – Quinton Jackson
Last night the UFC announced that former light-heavyweight champion and Pride legend Quinton Jackson re-signed with the world’s largest MMA promotion.
‘Rampage’ spent six years on the UFC’s books and is best remembered for his dominant TKO victory over Chuck Liddell that claimed him the coveted UFC belt in 2007. Jackson, familiar to many from his role as BA Baracus in The A-Team movie, lost three consecutive bouts between 2011 and 2013 before signing a multi-year deal with rival organisation Bellator MMA. His trash-talking prowess and larger than life personality made Rampage one of the biggest stars in MMA, and his return has already generated a lot of hype.
Here’s how the good people on social media reacted to the news.

UFC announces that Rampage Jackson is coming back. I'm sure he'll be very excited about it. For about 15 minutes.

There a number of UFC light heavyweights I would watch Rampage against. Shogun, Manuwa, Maldonado, Lil’ Nog, Hendo, Feijao.

I see the rationale for signing Rampage. But personally, I was actually more excited to see Ben Saunders back in the UFC.

FWIW, I am told Viacom will not accept Rampage signing lying down. What does that mean? In the words of @adbrandt, there will be lawyers.

Let us be clear that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is under an exclusive contract with #BellatorMMA. We will protect our contractual rights
