Well, that was certainly worth staying up for.
Conor McGregor took just 13 seconds to finish Jose Aldo at UFC 194 and become the first featherweight to beat the longstanding UFC champion.
The Notorious finished Aldo with his second punch of the fight, the trusty left hand that has finished so many other fighters before him.
It marked the fastest ever UFC title fight finish, beating Ronda Rousey’s demolition of Cat Zingano by one second.
Unsurprisingly, the people of Twitter were in a state of shock after seeing McGregor get the job done in such devastating fashion.
That left hand is something serious… #UFC194

Legitimately one of the most shocking endings MMA has ever seen. An all-time great just got starched with the first punch Conor landed.
