There has been a groundswell of support for Conor McGregor since he backed up his predictions with a first round KO of former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
MMA pundits, fans and fighters have showered the Dubliner with praise and even some of his harshest critics have grudgingly admitted his weekend performance was something to behold.
Dwayne Johnson has followed McGregor’s career since he made his UFC bow. The aspect of his weekend triumph that impressed the WWE star the most was his graceful Instagram post.
Along with re-posting McGregor’s Sunday morning missive, Johnson stated:
