Jaysus, testosterone levels are running high in Vegas.
We haven’t even gotten to the main events and there are some crazy things happening on the UFC 181 undercards. Beautifully crazy.
First up, Racquel Pennington stunned the world with this vicious choke-out of Ashlee Evans-Smith who face-planted the ring during a blood-strewn affair.
Then, Josh Sammon threatened to steal the entire night. There are not enough vines in the world to do justice to this bloody marvellous high kick that knocked Eddie Gordon’s lights out. The follow-up punch as Gordon was on his way down was just unnecessary. It just gets better with every angle.
Unfortunately, all that was almost marred when Uriah Faber took the next fight in controversial circumstances when his eye-poke on Francisco Rivera led to his choke-out win. Down with this sort of thing.
No #eyepoke here! If the ref don’t call it, I don’t see it. Congrats @UrijahFaber #UFC181 pic.twitter.com/zIq4ZQkDYd
