The iconic Irish singer confirmed on her official Facebook page on Thursday that she will be joining the hordes of Irish MMA fans making the trip to Las Vegas for Conor McGregor’s interim title fight with Chad Mendes.
No, she hasn’t been added to the undercard togive CM Punk his promotional debut.
The Notorious’s trademark entrance theme is O’Connor’s version of The Foggy Dew which fades into Hypnotize by Biggie Smalls. O’Connor revealed that she will be performing McGregor’s walkout song live as he makes his way to the Octagon in the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 11th.
We’ll just have to wait and see if she decides to go the whole hog and bust out a couple of bars of the Notorious BIG as well.
