Sergio Moraes, fair play.
On the UFC Sao Paulo preliminary card, Ben Saunders suffered his first ever submission loss to Sergio Moraes. ‘Serginho’ defeated the fellow Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu black belt via second round arm-triangle. However, Saunders reacted very well to the defeat.
It was clear in the immediate aftermath that there was no bad blood between the two warriors. They both had wide smiles washed across their faces as they embraced each other inside the Octagon.
As John Kavanagh would say, you either win or you learn. Saunders saw this as a learning experience and he wanted to gain more knowledge in the post-fight.

In the video embedded below, you can see Moraes contently demonstrating the move he used to finish Saunders after the fight was over.
The Brazillian appeared to have no problem showing his vanquished foe how he secured the win.

This isn’t this first time something like this has happened with UFC fighters. It’s not even the first time it happened in the welterweight division.
After being soundly humbled by BJJ master Demian Maia, Neil Magny hit up the veteran fighter on Twitter. He asked if he would be able to attend a BJJ seminar Maia was putting on. Maia’s response really summed up his character.
@NeilMagny @UFCGYM @ufc Sure Neil !! Will be a honor.

Sure enough, Magny showed up just a few months after having his seven-fight win streak snapped by Maia via second-round rear-naked choke.
Respect is earned through battle.
