Get ready to drink your haterade, a sponsor has figured out that Sage Northcutt is a very marketable fighter.
The 20-year-old UFC lightweight has signed a solo deal with Reebok that go beyond their outfitting deal with the promotion.
Northcutt is obviously already contracted to wear head-to-toe Reebok at every blooming UFC event, but this new side deal will see him earn more money.alongside fighters such as Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, Paige VanZant, Chris Weidman, Johny Hendricks and Rory MacDonald, to name but a few who have been snapped up on solo deals by the sportswear company.

Northcutt has been the subject of much jealousy from his fellow fighters and dislike from some fans after he was signed by the promotion after being discovered on the reality show “Looking for a Fight”. Since joining the UFC, he has gone 2-1, losing in his last outing via submission to Bryan Barberena.
Lightweight Ramsey Nijem, who was recently handed his pink slip by the promotion in 2015 after going 2-4 was quick to point out that the timing of Super Sage signing the deal didn’t seem right.
@sagenorthcutt @Reebok who were you with before? Reebok lol get signed after a loss. Do you think it’s bc you’re a good fighter?

Northcutt’s next fight is against some chap called Enrique Marín on the preliminary card of the landmark UFC 200 event which is set to go down on July 9.
