Ronda Rousey breaks her silence following her devastating knockout loss to Holly Holm

She'll be back

Ben Kiely

To paraphrase Conor McGregor, this game breaks you down.

It certainly seems that the obligations that come with being a superstar have taken its toll on Ronda Rousey.

After Rowdy was outclassed and brutally knocked out by Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 193, she was immediately taken to hospital which caused her to miss the Octagon interview and the post fight press conference.

That meant that we didn’t get to hear her thoughts after suffering her first professional loss and having her women’s bantamweight throne usurped by someone she referred to as a Fake ass cheap shotting fake respect fake humility bitch.”

However, she has broken her silence on Instagram by thanking the fans for their support and quashing the rumours that her she was badly injured in the fight. She also announced that she would be taking a well deserved break from fighting for an unspecified amount of time.
