Despite being knocked out in one of the worst fights ever, Dada 5000 remains unbeaten.
Remember that car crash of a fight between Dhafir Harris and Kimbo Slice at Bellator 149? Well, thanks to Slice taking “a little extra vitamins”, it’s as if it never actually happened.
An exhausted Harris was essentially shoved to the mat by Slice in the third round, had to be stretchered out of the cage and rushed to hospital and suffered kidney failure and two heart attacks shortly after the fight.
Ferguson has settled with Texas’ athletic commission following a failed steroid test and the result has been overturned to a “No Contest”.
Slice tested positive for the steroid nandrolone and was also found to have an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio, in a pre-fight urine test before Bellator 149.
MMA Junkie broke the news that Slice agreed to a $2,500 fine, have his Texas fight license revoked and waive his right to a hearing.
The overturned result means that Dada 5000’s professional MMA record is now a pristine 2-0-1, while Kimbo now holds a 5-2-1 record.
