UFC flyweights Neil Seery and Kyoji Horiguchi should be wearing their fresh shiners like badges of honour.
The 125 lbers put on an exceptional show on the UFC Rotterdam prelims, with Dubliner Neil Seery showcasing his incredible heart and Jay Leno-esque chin to go the distance against a fighter who many believe will be a future champion of the division.
A couple of days after the bout, photos have been surfacing of both warriors and it’s fair to say that they’re both looking a bit worse for wear. Seery’s heavy hands certainly left their mark on the left eye of the Japanese starlet.
Seery, who has since returned to working his day job, posted a selfie on Snapchat also showing a black eye he gained during the 15-minute battle against his alacritous adversary.

Hold your heads high, gentlemen. That was one hell of a scrap.
