Rising UFC lightweight Johnny Case has been nothing but class all weekend.
After suffering his first UFC loss at the hands of Jake Matthews at UFC Brisbane, he engaged in a beautiful moment of sportsmanship with his opponent inside the cage when the broadcast cut to an ad break.
Case was up on the scorecards before the Aussie forced the tap with that rear-naked choke with just 15-seconds left in the final round. The scrap was awarded the Fight of the Night accolade with both warriors pocketing an extra $50,000 in bonus money.

Despite representing the sport well both during and after the fight, Case could not escape the inevitable criticisms of MMA “fans”, one of which relentlessly berated him on Facebook.
The troll kept pestering the trained murderer to respond to his bullying and rather than ignore the abuse (or take the Josh Neer route), Case felt the need to respond. It may not have been the response he was probably hoping for, but here’s hoping it leaves a lasting impression on the young gentleman.
Case posted a screenshot of his reply on Facebook as a warning to others, explaining that this particular bully has been sending him abusive messages for months. Check out Case’s response below (click to zoom).
