Forget jiu-jitsu, Rousimar Palhares should really consider unleashing his freakish forearm upon the world of arm-wrestling.
Palhares is considered one of the filthiest fighters in the history of MMA, or at least since groin strikes and head butts were outlawed.
The Brazilian submission specialist was booted out of the UFC for failing to release submission attempts after the referee intervened during several fights. He is currently serving a two year suspension handed to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for refusing to let go of a kimura on Jake Shields in the WSOF, but he does have a fight coming up.
Palhares is preparing for a jiu-jitsu contest against leg-lock wizard Garry Tonon for their Polaris 3 event on April 2 in the UK. The former WSOF welterweight champion uploaded a photo of himself in camp on Twitter (with the world’s gaudiest filters) and one thing sticks out more than anything else – the dude’s got a bigger forearm than Popeye.

We’re sure that when his suspension from MMA has ended, the Athletic Commissions will be checking his spinach levels before allowing him back inside the cage. At the moment, his forearm simply doesn’t look human.
