Either that or he’s just staying ready so he doesn’t have to get ready.
The last time we saw Jose Aldo inside the Octagon, we barely saw him at all as he was rendered unconscious in just 13-seconds thanks to Conor McGregor’s patented Celtic cross. The loss saw him lose his 145 lb belt and for the first time in UFC, we had a new featherweight champion.
Aldo has explicitly requested for his rematch against the Notorious, before rejecting the opportunity and then recently relaunching his campaign to reclaim that loss.
Scarface posted an update on Instagram claiming he is preparing for the landmark UFC 200 event in July. At the time of writing, an opponent for the former featherweight king has not been confirmed, but we all know who Aldo would like to fight at the event, although we’d personally prefer to see him fight Max Holloway.
