It looks like Conor McGregor isn’t the only trash-talker Chad Mendes needs to worry about before UFC 189.
Once it was announced that he would be fighting McGregor for the interim strap on July 11th, Chad Mendes knew he would face a considerable amount of trash-talk from the Notorious.
However, he probably didn’t suspect he would also have to contend with smack-talk from McGregor’s young SBG teammate Nate “the Great” Kelly as well.
McGregor has been cracking wise about Mendes’ vertically challenged frame for months. Money is three inches shorter and will also give up eight inches of reach when the two throw down in Las Vegas, two facts which have caused the Irishman endless enjoyment.
When it was confirmed that Mendes would be standing in for the injured Jose Aldo at UFC 189, SBG youngster Nate Kelly was quick to score a cheeky dig at Money’s expense.
