If Conor McGregor was into politics we reckon he’d be very much anti-austerity.
And as votes continue to be counted across the country, it seems that one eager voter was very firm in who he thought should be part of the 32nd Dáil.
McGregor may be a few thousand miles away, but even in the Dublin West constituency, it seems the MMA fighter can’t help but be drawn into local matters as this spoiled vote this afternoon shows.

Now if McGregor did go for political office he would certainly make things a bit more interesting on Kildare Street.
Perhaps someday, if he gets bored of making millions in an octagon, he can make a few quid on representing the people of his native Drimnagh.
He’s the number one featherweight, and now he’s number one on a ballot paper too.
