Anthony Pettis will be spending half his earnings from UFC 197 on Arnica Cream, by the looks of his leg.
At one stage Anthony Pettis was considered one of the P4P best fighters in the world, but now the former lightweight champion has a mountain to climb to thrust himself back into the title frame of the UFC’s most populated division.
Showtime made it three losses in as many fights on Saturday by losing a unanimous decision to flashy striker Edso Barboza.
Barboza put on an absolute kicking clinic and proceeded to chop away at Anthony Pettis for fifteen minutes, who didn’t have much of answer for the abuse his left leg in particular took during the fight, as you can see from the picture below.

Unsurprisingly, Pettis’ horrifically brutalised leg was the talk of Twitter following the fight.
