Fans in Ireland couldn’t watch this brutal knockout live without stealing

Shame

Ben Kiely

If you watched the highly-anticipated bout between Paul Daley and Lorenz Larkin in Ireland last night, you probably stole it.

If you’re a fight fan, you’ll want to see two top Bellator welterweights slug it out. The promotion’s 170 lb division boasts names such as Douglas Lima, Rory MacDonald, Andrey Koreshkov and, of course, former UFC stars Paul Daley and Lorenz Larkin.

Bellator 183 played host to the war between Daley and Larkin, a card whose prelims you catch catch on Twitter.

The main card though, which featured the likes of Benson Henderson, Roy Nelson, Aaron Pico and the aforementioned welterweight scrap, was shown exclusively on Spike. And that meant bad news for viewers in the Uk and Ireland.

If you want to watch the full fight legitimately, you’ll have to wait a week to see it on Spike UK, a channel you have to add manually through the Sky Box and the real kicker is, you can’t even record it. You have to watch it live, and by live, we mean when they air it a week later.

If you don’t fancy waiting until then or perusing the internet to find an illegal stream, you can check out the stunning finish below.

After a strong showing from Larkin in the first round (apparently), Daley came back to uncork that patented left hand and shut the lights out in the second round.
