The Hooligan completely dominated the veteran English fighter over three rounds to take home the win in Glasgow.
Holohan threatened from the bottom position in the opening round and had an armbar attempt fended off by Lee. The Hooligan had a brief scare towards the end of the first stanza after losing position trying to mount from the triangle. Lee tried to lock in a rear-naked choke attempt but Holohan survived until the end.
The Irish man used his superior reach in the second stanza by consistently out-striking his opponent. He also had a kimura attempt that Lee slipped out of.
A groin strike called action to a halt in the third round. After an extended recovery period, Lee was noticeably slower and seemed reluctant to throw any combinations. The Brit sat back while Holohan picked him apart with his dynamic striking game.
All three judges scored the fight 30-27 in favour of Holohan. The result improves Holohans record to 12-1-1 (3-1 UFC).
Earlier on in the card there was disappointment for Dubliner Paul Redmond. Redser was knocked out by Robert Whiteford in the lion’s den.
The Scot dropped Redser with a heavy combination in the first round  and finished him off with strikes on the mat. Redmond is now 0-2 in the UFc after losing his promotional debut to Misrad Bektic.
