UFC enthusiasts couldn’t believe what they were witnessing at the promotion’s first Brazilian event of the year
The amazing Porto Alegre show is set to go down in MMA folklore as the night of the ridiculous amount of upsets. In total, 11 underdogs took home victories on the night. It was the headline bout though, that really shocked the MMA community.
Former heavyweight champ Frank Mir shocked everyone by annihilating Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva with some heavy haymakers. Mir sent the Brazilian crashing down to the canvas with a hard left early in the first and followed it up with some gruesome ground and pound to earn the KO.
Unsurprisingly, the pros on Twitter were stunned by Mir’s remarkable performance.
Whoooo what a finish by Mir!!!
