Rafael dos Anjos is fairly easy to wind up, isn’t he?
Although he lost his title after getting knocked out by MMA veteran Eddie Alvarez inside one round last month, RDA my only be one fight away from getting another shot at the lightweight strap.
Dos Anjos is scheduled to fight top contender Tony Ferguson at the TUF Latin America Finale in Mexico City on November 5. “El Cucuy” is riding an eight-fight win-streak and defeating him might just be enough to convince the UFC matchmakers to give him a chance to reclaim his belt, which may lead to that coveted Red Panty Night that slipped through his fingers.

RDA was set to take on McGregor in UFC 196’s original main event, but was forced to withdraw on short notice due to an injury. During the UFC 202 conference call last week, McGregor was quick to remind everyone that the Brazilian pulled out of that fight, which he reckons cost him a spot in the UFC history books.
“Realistically I should be a two-weight UFC world champion. If I fought Rafael dos Anjos, if he didn’t pussy out of that last one and showed up, the shots I cracked Nate with in the first eight minutes would’ve KO’d Rafael dos Anjos stiff. That’s no question.”
RDA has since fired back over McGregor’s comments saying he wouldn’t have had a hope of beating him anyway, claiming his performance against replacement Nate Diaz proves that.
@TheNotoriousMMA if You had fought me you wouldn't be 2 division champ, you would be dead.Look what a out of shape Diaz did to U #I'llbeback

We’ll have to wait until August 20 to see if McGregor can prove the doubters wrong when he takes on the Stockton native in a welterweight do-over bout.
