One suspects that Nate Diaz’ vacation will include plenty of mixed martial acts action.
Diaz may not be fighting Conor McGregor but, keeping true to himself, he is acting like a man prepared to throw down whenever he is called upon.
The Californian told Dana White and the UFC brass that he was either fighting McGregor at UFC 200 or taking a vacation.

White, however, has intimated that McGregor could fight as soon as UFC 201. While no date for that event has been locked in, July 30 has been mooted. That would mean McGregor-Diaz II could take place three weeks after UFC 200.
Diaz is keeping in good shape in the likelihood that will be fighting this summer.
On Saturday, he was joined at the gym by action movie legend Jean Claude van Damme. The pair posed on motorbikes before getting involved in a brief sparring session.

It will be interesting to see what weight division Diaz next fights in.
He is the No.5 ranked lightweight but defeated McGregor at welterweight. There were rumours that he wanted a crack at UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos after his UFC 196 win but Ali Abdel-Aziz, the Brazilian’s manager, has denied that such discussions took place.
