Nate Diaz picks next seven opponents after he wins at UFC 200

“He’s saying he’s obsessed? Welcome to my life, motherf**ker. That’s the game, and I’ve never gotten my losses back.”

Nate Diaz has been in a lot more of our lives since he got the shot of a life-time against Conor McGregor, and took it.

The Californian is doing the media rounds for UFC 200, a week after he did the media rounds for his UFC 196 win over McGregor.

He has already compared the Dubliner to a ‘spoilt little kid’ after his reluctance to defend his featherweight crown a defend the belt he won at UFC 194 [December 2015].

Diaz is ticked off that McGregor is being perceived as a warrior for immediately seeking to avenge his loss. He told ESPN:

“Since that last fight, have you heard any praise for me from Dana White or the UFC? None at all.

“How much praise has that motherf**ker got?

“I’ve never lost a fight and not wanted to fight the guy 10 minutes later.

“The UFC is pumping him up again, saying he wants to redeem himself and giving him all this credit for it. It’s like, dude, I’ve been obsessed with every fight I’ve ever lost. This is a gift for him to get it right away.”

Diaz McGregor

Diaz has lost eight fights in the UFC – Clay Guida, Joe Stevenson, Gray Maynard, Dong Hyun Kim, Rory MacDonald, Benson Henderson, Josh Thomson and Rafael dos Anjos – but only ever got one change for revenge.

In a separate interview with Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Diaz gave his wishlist for future fights after he disposes of McGregor.

“I’m going to get down to business, slap this bitch and then be on my way and get my rematches.”

Given that Diaz won his rematch with Maynard, four years later, that leaves seven men on his hit-list, starting with dos Anjos.

Given that Henderson is now a Bellator fighter, Diaz might have to wait a while to tick off every box.
