As if this rematch needed any more drama…
Nate Diaz caused hell of a lot of panic on Wednesday night after sending out a cryptic tweet revealing that he’s unhappy with the UFC.
The Stockton native is scheduled to take on Conor McGregor in one of the most highly-anticipated rematches in UFC history in UFC 202’s main event next month.
The do-over of UFC 196’s headliner has already been postponed once. It was bumped from UFC 200 when the Notorious failed to show up to a pre-fight press conference and Diaz’s tweet has left some fans fearing the worst that they might never see the grudge match again.
@Ufc played me again #trustnobody😡

One theory of how the UFC ‘played’ Diaz and lost his trust is about the almighty dollar. Diaz had held up the fight getting booked for UFC 200 after reportedly trying to negotiate a better deal for himself. Some fans believe that he may have found out he didn’t get as good of a deal as he thought he had for the rematch.
Whoa! What now? It's money. Right?

Considering the timing, perhaps the most likely reason for Diaz’s anger was his appearance on Conan on Tuesday night. Some people have suggested that the lightweight star was unhappy with Conor McGregor’s surprise presence during his interview.
Talking about the TV appearance?

Finally a few very worried people fear the absolute worst case scenario.

Whatever went wrong, we ‘re praying to the MMA Gods (Royce Gracie and Georges St-Pierre) that whatever happened will be sorted and this fight will still go ahead.
