The likelihood is that fight fans will see CM Punk in a virtual Octagon before the real deal.
It was revealed in an early review from MMAJunkie that the former WWE world champion is featured in UFC 2, the video game that’s set for release soon.
Punk, who’s real name is Phil Brooks is expected to make his UFC debut in 2016, which will also mark the first time he’s ever competed in MMA. However, everyone thought he would have already made his first Octagon appearance by now considering he signed for the promotion in 2014.
Brooks is a playable fighting character in the new game and as you’d expect, some fans aren’t too happy about a former wrestler with a record of 0-0 being featured in an MMA game.
