Not sure this is entirely necessary.
Conor McGregor took to Twitter this morning to insult Nate Diaz once more.
The Dubliner unloaded several insults towards his UFC 196 opponent last night at the press conference to preview the hastily rescheduled fight next week.
But clearly the Irishman needed to land the very final blow in his war of words with the American, and decided that the Stockton native reminded him most of a very popular food, which is more associated with Mexico, than California.
Fans and social media users seem divided on McGregor’s intended meaning, with some claiming that it was another racially-charged epithet from McGregor, who previously apologised for calling Dennis Siver a Nazi.
I see a fajita. pic.twitter.com/VNfF72MNpQ

And others critical
@TheNotoriousMMA Normally so witty…is race baiting all you have left?

@TheNotoriousMMA Conor thinks Diaz having less money and teaching kids are things to insult him for. Nice values you have, Conor.

Emma Stone popped up to explain how truly shocking the comment was in case you didn’t know you should be shocked already

Others thought McGregor should be a bit more careful in his choice of words
@TheNotoriousMMA That fajita can slap the hell out of you. 😉

And even one fan made a decent point about bringing food to a fist fight
@TheNotoriousMMA Now Conor would you like if he called you a potato?
