Michael Bisping has another thing to worry about ahead of his huge fight against Georges St-Pierre.

UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is being sued by a teenager over an alleged violent incident at a 24 Hour Fitness Gym.

The incident took place in Anaheim, California in July and was first reported by TMZ Sports. Bisping is accused of attacking Antonio Georgakopoulos after he took his weights without asking first during a workout.

The UFC stalwart is supposed to have called the 19-year-old a ‘little punk’ and an ‘idiot’ before asking “you don’t know who I am?” According to the report, Bisping allegedly grabbed Georgakopoulos by the throat and squeezed it. He supposedly held the choke for ‘two or three seconds’ before another gym goer intervened to break it up.

Georgakopoulos is now suing ‘The Count’ for injuries, as well as nightmares and anxiety brought on by the incident. The official offences he is being sued over are battery, assault, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Bisping is scheduled to defend his belt against returning welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the main event of UFC 217 on November 4 in New York. It is expected to be one of the biggest PPVs of the year.
