It’s finally on.
Conor McGregor will fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov on 6 October in Las Vegas at UFC 229.
The announcement was made at the end of the UFC 25th anniversary press conference in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Beforehand, McGregor teased the inevitable with a short provocative clip on Twitter.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani teased “the biggest fight in MMA history” on Twitter before the press conference, and it appeared that an anticlimax was on the cards.
