It’s (almost) time!!!
We’re less than a month away from Conor McGregor’s historic lightweight title shot against Rafael dos Anjos and the regulatory officials for the two huge title fights at UFC 196 have been announced. All of this is making us very excited indeed.
Herb Dean will be the referee for the main event which will see RDA try to stop the Notorious from becoming the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously, as MMA Fighting reports.
Meanwhile, “Big” John McCarthy will officiate Holly Holm’s first women’s bantamweight title defense against Miesha Tate.
The judges scoring the headliner will be Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Junichiro Kamijo, while Chris Lee, Marcos Rosales and Glenn Trowbridge will be in charge of scoring the co-main should Holm and Tate goes to decision.
