“How do I look, DC?” – Jon Jones.
After the circus act of the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor world tour, the pre-fight press conference promoting UFC 214 headlined by Jones vs Daniel Cormier seemed a little subdued.
There wasn’t much aggression, there wasn’t much animosity, there weren’t even any questions from Ariel Helwani in what felt like a very rushed presser.
If it wasn’t for Jones shutting down Luke Thomas’ question or the fact that he took off his shirt for the obligatory staredown, there wouldn’t be much to take away from the verbal battle before the most stacked card of 2017.

It was Cormier’s accusation that Jones has used steroids that lead him to show off his impressive physique early into the press conference.
DC claimed that Jones ‘looked like a bum’ in his last fight against Ovince Saint-Preux because he wasn’t using PEDs, which prompted Jones to lift his shirt and flaunt his six-pack to fans and members of the media.
Interestingly, Jones then decided to go topless for the staredown. He popped off his t-shirt as he made his way back onto the stage to come face-to-face with Cormier after the presser had ended.
Defending champion Cormier opted to leave his suit on.
If the fight was decided on who had the better physique there would be only one winner, but we should find out who is the greatest light heavyweight on planet Earth once the two duke it out inside the Octagon for the second time.
