The developers of EA Sports UFC 2 have the inside track on MMA newbie CM Punk’s ability… he’s going to be a world beater on the ground.
There was uproar among the MMA-gaming community recently as an image began to do the rounds showing the stats of 0-0 CM Punk in the upcoming UFC video game.
The picture showed a side-by-side comparison of the former WWE star’s ratings with former welterweight and lightweight champion BJ Penn. The majority of people seemed to take issue with Punk’s submission rating, which was one point higher than Penn’s, who is a actual three-time World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship medalist.
UFC colour commentator Joe Rogan perfectly summed up everyone’s thoughts on the matter, or at least everyone who isn’t willing to look past that we’re talking about virtual likenesses here.
If true, that is a crime against humanity. https://t.co/JFO7tQ3JG3

EA Sports UFC 2 is set for release worldwide release on March 17, an appropriate date considering the news that it will contain at least twice as many Irish fighters as the previous installment.
