Joe Rogan outdoes himself with hyperbolic salute to Conor McGregor

Relish it

Patrick McCarry

The hype clouds are gathering on the horizon.

Conor McGregor will take on UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos in Las Vegas on March 5. The historic fight, which will see McGregor aiming to hold two UFC belts at once, is a little over two weeks away.

Veteran UFC commentator Joe Rogan will have one of the best seats in the house for the title tilt and he could not be happier. When the UFC need someone to set the pulses racing for a fight, Joe is the go-to guy.

Once again, he does not disappoint.

“When you want to see the best example of an MMA fight, two destroyers in their prime, that is what you are going to see. Relish it, take it in, because this is a rare fight.”

Conor McGregor salute

Rogan was one of the first in the promotion to see McGregor for what he was – a highly talented sportsman and a complete and utter showman.

“Who has ever been as bold, as crazy and as fun to watch as Conor McGregor?” he asks. Rogan continues:

“He wins fights by spectacular knock-outs, has brutal finishing ability, an iron chin and is the world champion at psychological warfare. A 10th degree black-belt at sh*t-talking…

“He wants to be epic. He wants to be a legend.”

This fight cannot come quick enough.
